I mentioned the scholastic women’s basketball tryout dates a few days back. Now I have the info on the open team, which will be coached by Al Viani and Manny Martinez.
The tryout dates are set for May 26 and June 2. They will be held from 7-9 p.m. at SUNY Purchase.
For those who make the team, practices will be held every Wednesday through July 14 at the same place at the same time: SUNY Purchase from 7-9.
And for those who don’t know, players are eligible for the Open division team if they are outgoing seniors or college players.
As I mentioned during the scholastic team announcement, all players must register online before attending a tryout. You can register at: http://www.empirestategames.org/summer/tryouts/register.asp. There is a $10 registration fee, and registration has already begun.

Since this is the signing period any can you let us know where some of the girls are playing: Gableman, Bucci, Guiliano? (dobbs) Jefferson (suffer) Jentzen,Conroy and many other seniors who should be playing at the next level.
