What happened to the posting for Tuesdays schedule?
Who played today, when will Tuesdays games be posted next month?
That Northern Highlands team was very good and the center was a beast on the boards. She’s got such a long wingspan. Is she going anywhere for College? They had like 3 players who were very tall and the whole team was pretty athletic and fast. Saniya had 49 DESPITE being terrible from behind the arc tonight. Her 3 point shot was not falling for her tonight. Just one of those days.
Yes, Highlands was a strong team. In fact, i would say they were stronger than any other team ive seen in Section 1 this year. I dont think theywere use to the running though with no sht clock in NJ and all. I just think its amazing that Saniya can run up and down the court like that without sitting once execpt for time outs.
I just spoke with one of the asst coaches and the word is that both Uconn and UNC were both very impressed. UNC has to run tonher plane but Ms. Ralphs stayed forva long time after the game huddled with coach. Not too shbby.
And to my friend “Mr. Self hating Ossining fan”’, I watched the game today with two Section 1 girls officials. They both told me how much respect they had for coach Ricci. One said he knows more about the game than the majority of their officials. They said they dont get mad at him because he is usually right and never disrespectful to them.
And so I have a question for you. How is it that Ossining can go to Orlando, Queens, NJ and Manhattan and not have a problem with the refs there either? Are they in his pocket too? Just asking.

I’ll agree with that statement. Highlands was one of the toughest if not the toughest of the season. A lot of height, skill and speed. You can see why they had only lost 2 games until tonight. That girl #14 was big for them, especially on the boards.

Ricci couldn’t tell you the color of the rule book. He couldn’t get 50% of the questions correct on the yearly ref test. Ricci is a fat slob who is a disgrace to the good name of basketball by his ranting and raving over the stupidest things on the sidelines. Screaming and yelling, at the refs and his girls, it’s disgusting. He might be a great coach but he’s a downright fool. It’s no wonder Ossinning has a lot of poor refs doing their games, all the good refs don’t wanna work for Ricci and block him from their schedule.
