Things will be relatively quiet until the public schools are in full-swing, but in the meantime, we’ll be posting any and all scores that are called in each night.
Here’s a look at tonight’s results:
Rye Country Day 61, Marymount 25: At Marymount, Carolyn Binder scored 16 points, putting her just 33 points away from the school’s all-time scoring record of 1,476 points, held by Alexandra Osborn-Jones. – On Thursday, Nov. 29, the Rockland and Westchester/Putnam preview editions will be available in the print edition of The Journal News and online. We’ll post all of that info here too, which will include a feature on a team from each county, an overview of the top teams, 10 players to watch and capsules about surprise teams.
Coverage in today’s paper was weak. No overview of top teams. No 10 players to watch. Just a mid size article on ossining.
In the print edition, there was definitely a list of teams and players to watch from both Rockland and Westchester/Putnam; it should be at the bottom of the article. If you’re looking online, the same lists are in the left column above “Related Links”.
