Saturday was a slow night around the area in girls hoops but you can find the results below. This upcoming week is a strong one with some great matchups – including Hamilton/Ossining + Pearl River/Irvington on Wednesday. We’ll be covering both of those games two additional ones as well. In the championship game of the North Salem Boost Club Tournament, Hamilton topped John Jay, 70-40.
Sacred Heart transfer Tiffany Corselli (shown below, right), in her first year with the Red Raiders, had 27 points, six assists and seven steals for Hamilton.
Maia Hood (a senior pictured left) had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Sarah Lang had 16 points for the Indians.
Saunders 41, Eastchester 34: In the opening game of the Hoops For a Cure tourney at the Monroe Athletic Complex in New Rochelle, Amanda Smith scored 16 points, 12 coming on 3-pointers. The senior guard was named the game MVP. Olivia Dineen had 10 points for the Eagles.
Eastchester 42, Hastings 39: At Eastchester on Friday, Olivia Heffernan had 21 points. Lea Distelhurst had 22 points for the Yellow Jackets.
Preston 55, Good Counsel 37: At Good Counsel, Amy Jeanty had 12 points.
New Rochelle 65, Mamaroneck 45: At Mamaroneck Friday, Aaliya Hayes had 19 points for the Huguenots. Sydney Pinn added 13 points. Aliza Kantor had 10 points for the Tigers.

where do u get the stats from that come in? because Tiffany Corselli finished with 30 points..
The scores are reported directly by either coach.
HEY, there’s a missprint about how many points Tiffany Corselli had in the game. Who is responsible for posting stats?
We’ve had several people comment on Corselli’s point total. We post the stats that are given to us by the coach who calls or e-mails the game in.
There is no misprint with Corselli’s stats – I confirmed her 27 point total with coach Benjamin Carter this morning.
