Monday will kick off an action-packed week around the section in girls hoops, with several marquee match ups on the slate.
We will be staffing another four games this week in total: Phil and I will each be covering one, while our esteemed colleague Brian Heyman will be ‘assisting’ us in our coverage (I have to get ‘points’ for the basketball lingo, right?).
Here is the complete list of our coverage plans for the week:
Monday, Jan. 14 — Brian Heyman will be covering Nyack at Sleepy Hollow.
Wednesday, Jan. 16 — Brian Heyman will be covering Ossining at Hamilton.
Wednesday, Jan. 16 — Phil Terrigno will be covering Pearl River at Irvington.
Friday, Jan. 18 — Mike Zacchio will be covering Tappan Zee at Nanuet.

Below is the complete list of games we have scheduled for Monday, along with predicted winners for each game. Despite a few hiccups this season, we’ve done fairly well, predicting just over 75 percent of our games (124-40) correctly.
We have yet to predict a perfect full day (at least 10 games), but with days of 16-3 and 14-2 last week, we’re getting close…
Phil and I are always looking for ways to boost the interest of this blog, so effective immediately, we are going to pick our “Game of the Night” — the one game that should be the most anticipated.

Suffern played tough. Nice Team. Pearl River a little off in first half but easily had game in hand. I think PR was looking ahead to next game.
Congrats, to Sanyia Chong and Coach Dan Ricci for being selected player and coach of the week by Sports Illustrated!
Check the latest post! We were a little busy tonight, so we couldn’t get it up as quickly as we’d like.
