LETS GO LADY “KNIGHTS”
MV VS URSULINE FINAL SCORE?
Congrats to Ursuline for the big win today against MV. They are missing three starters right now and it is great they are still able to compete. If they had all their pieces on the team healthy they would be the #3 team in Section 1.
MODERATION FOR WHAT?CONSTANT PROBLEM,CAN WE GET IT FIXED
WHAT WAS THE SCORE?
Nanuet defeated Pelham 50-28
How is it that you call the somers vs jjay the game of the night and you don’t even have a score?
It certainly is an inconvenient one not to have reported, i’ll admit that. It’s not possible to track down every game, there are too many events going on in each of the sports. I’ll see if I come across it.
I’m with Haywood. 98% of us are opinionated and sometimes critical yet civilized. The modification thing is an overreaction to those few that post offensive comments. It interrupts the flow of the blog and will always do so unless the modification occurs within a few minutes of the previous post. I suggest you guys just let it flow and immediately ban anyone who clearly crosses the personal insult line.
i had a post censured because i said columbia university is a better academic university thatn UConn. I don’t get it.
Pal Prep girls defeated Riverside 43 • 33 to take 3rd place in the Yonkers City Tournament. Kayla Cortinas led Prep with 17, Paula Richard.added 13.
Panas beat Port Chester today! No score though
Panas won today vs Port Chester
Panas won yesterday vs Pawling
Their record is now 6-7!
A simple email to Dini at Somers would solve the mystery. Isn’t it customary for the home team to report the score?
I agree the modification thing is ruining the flow of the blog.
Blind Brook is 11 and 2, one loss by one point, and a bad lose to Hamilton, and the Trojans have still not played their best ball, keep an eye on them, and other then Irvington Class B is becoming very interesting—- Blind Brook, Kennedy, Dobbs, Ardsley, Briarcliff, Pleasantville —so which of these teams can match up best against Irvington and will they do against each other—February Madness is coming.
It is truly a sad to continue to read comments from Coaches who say players do not play (in a High School Game) due to disciplinary reasons. If these student athletes cannot abide to the Student Athlete code of conduct, I don’t care how good they may be, they need to be suspended for more than 1 game (how about 3 or 4). If it is a second offense, they should no longer be allowed to play and represent their school, athletically. MAYBE THEN THESE KIDS WILL WAKE UP A LEARN THAT PLAYING INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS IS A PRIVLEDGE AND NOT A GIVEN
Yes it kind of defeats the purpose if were at a game and trying to update scores that if no one is available to moderate it doesn’t get posted..slows the process down..I checked the varsity insider and the hockey blog and they don’t do this practice…Josh and mike will delete derogatory comments but they are posted till they read them..I agree with hsbbfan, stanner grad and north country 24
Yes, it is customary for the home team to call, regardless or win or loss. Just got the score a few minutes ago, John Jay won 40-31. Nice to finally be in the win column (myself, that is).
