2 questions guys..1) Josh and Dan on the boys side did a nice mid-season all star bit do you guys plan on doing anything like this? 2)MSG varsity has some bracketology for section playoffs for the girls( it’s not near complete as regular season is only 3/4 done) are you guys going to take your stab at it also?
On another note I think you guys have done a nice job this season in your first year running the girls side..something positive to build on!
Hey Holla,
First off, thank you for the kind words — greatly appreciated. We have been discussing doing something along the lines of a “look ahead” into the playoffs; whatever that may be. If we can calculate a somewhat accurate bracketology post (before the actual seeds come out), of course that is a road we would look at. I do like the idea of a mid-season “all-stars” post, although, I’m sure it’s bound to ruffle some feathers with who is in/out. We are definitely doing a full prediction of each bracket when the actual seeds are out, with some analysis into our picks. We were also kicking around another surprise to kind of liven up the blog and add a little bit of fun and comparison (cough) to the mix. Stay tuned!
Good stuff!!
Ruffling feathers is what it’s all about! You should just do what you guys think is accurate with a detailed explanation as to why and then let the people who comment on this blog do their own and see how it matches up to compared to yours. It would def be nice to see a mid-season all star tribute. You could even try to do a running poll and let the people decide.
I think we’re going to do an early Rockland POY poll to see if people’s minds have changed at all. Rockland is definitely more open to debate than Westchester.
