We did not receive many games tonight, but there was a common trend in the ones that we did receive. Many of the games were one-sided, as five teams won by at least 25 points, many of which won by more than 30 points.
In the games we received tonight, winning teams outscored their counterparts, 619-399.
Ossining senior Saniya Chong scored 29 points in just three quarters of action, bringing her even closer to the section’s all-time scoring title of 2,662 career points.
Chong now sits exactly 70 points behind Karen O’Connor for a share of the title, and will play all three of her remaining regular season games at home. Ossining will likely receive the No. 1 seed in the Class AA bracket, so the Pride will have plenty of home-court love the rest of this season.
Ossining will host Spring Ford (Penn.) on Saturday at noon in its next contest.
