Hamilton senior Maia Hood went down with an injury Monday at Harrison, leaving mid-way through the third quarter with 18 points. The Red Raiders, who were also without star transfer Tiffany Corselli, fell to the Huskies on the road, 40-34, for just their second loss all season.
Hamilton was the top-ranked Class C team in the state entering this week, so this loss is bound to be a massive hit to them in the ranks. The new NYSSWA rankings were supposed to be released Monday, but the site has not updated as of midnight.
Kyle Lefkowitz had nine points and 17 rebounds for the Huskies. Gia Mancini added eight rebounds in the win. We will provide you with more updates to Hood and Corselli’s status as soon as possible.

Zaria Cobb torn her ACL and is out for the season. But she said that’s not the end of her career she’s going to come back better, faster and stronger than before.
