Jasmine Robinson scored 27 points for Hamilton, who is playing without standouts Maia Hood (knee) and Tiffany Corselli (ankle) due to injuries they suffered against Harrison. (Both are pictured left)
I spoke with Hamilton Coach Benjamin Carter and he shared the following about his players, who both underwent MRIs:
“They called me and said they want to play Thursday, they want to go at it. Without them, we’re a different team. I think teams are taking advantage of it, which is good, I don’t mind. Coming to a rivalry game with Blind Brook. With Maia five or six rebounds away from 1,000 she might want to give it a go. I have to call and talk to their parents.”
Both athletes will follow up with doctors tomorrow. At worst, Carter believes they will be ready by playoff time.
