There isn’t a whole lot slated for Thursday, but there is one consistent trend — I’m taking the road warriors.
There are nine games scheduled for later today and I am picking all but three to win on the road. Between Ardsley-Woodlands, Pelham-Eastchester and Ursuline-New Rochelle, there should be no short supply of good competition. The Panthers could use a nice road win for an extra kick into gear, Pelham could really use a road win after a tough loss to Sleepy Hollow, and Ursuline-New Rochelle is pretty much self-explanatory every year.
Seeing as how New Rochelle was in control of their first rendezvous, then collapsed in the second half on Ursuline’s home court, I’ll bet Bruce Daniele’s squad really wants to serve Beth Wooters’ girls a slice of redemption. I may or may not swing by that game before the office; I’ll see what’s going on.
Below is the complete schedule, along with my predictions. I have a 19-game prediction winning streak going up until Pleasantville beat Byram Hills… in overtime, no less. Thanks a lot, coach Hill. (I’m 100 percent kidding.) All jokes aside, enjoy the hoops action.
